Voice123’s Secure Payment Service: 2023 pricing update

Effective January 16th, 2023, we’re updating the pricing structure of Voice123’s Secure Payment Service. Transparency is one of our core values, so we’d like to outline what exactly is changing and the reasoning behind this update.

What’s the Voice123 Secure Payment Service?

It’s a payment service that allows clients to pay voice actors securely and quickly via Voice123, which acts as a bond for the booking transaction. It’s 100% secure, and the funds are only released to the voice actor when the client is satisfied with the final recording.

What’s the service fee, and who pays for it?

The service fee covers all the costs Voice123 incurs to manage the secure transaction between the two parties. The fee is added to the final negotiated amount between a client and a voice actor and is paid by the client via the Voice123 platform.

What’s changing?

Over the last several years, we’ve been able to keep the service fee at 9% for all clients by covering the additional expenses. However, as we continue to increase this service’s value, features, and benefits, the time has come to update the pricing while still allowing clients to customize it to their own experience and needs.

Effective January 16th, 2023, each client will now get a customized service fee based on how much they have previously spent via the Voice123 Secure Payment Service and the amount of each booking. In other words, the more they use the feature; the less the service fee will be.

This new, dynamic pricing structure will allow us to maintain and improve a premium service that makes it simple and secure for clients to pay voice actors and for voice actors to get paid. In addition, we’ll also be able to better reward loyal clients with discounted service fees.
