Welcome to my profile!
My name is Ingela Lundh and I trained as an actress in London between 1996-1999 and spent the next 4 years touring the country with different Shakespeare productions. In fact I have seen more of the UK than I have of my native Sweden!
I started doing voice-overs in 2004 after an operation on my back for a slipped disc, my first job was in a studio up 4 narrow staircases, which I climbed on crutches!
Since then I have worked as an actress, voice-over artist and director of theatre and opera in Stockholm. I am also co-founder and co-artistic director of SEST, The Stockholm English Speaking Theatre performing Shakespeare to thousands of Stockholmers. I am currently also doing film work and was awarded Best Supporting Actress in a Feature Film At Madrid International Film festival.
As a voice-over artist my English voice has been used in commercials for Telenor, IKEA, Pepsi, La Redoute, BBC Entertainment and many more. I am also currently the voice for IKEAs democratic design days
I have narrated a documentary on Nordic Noir for Swedish Television and made audioguides for several museums both in Swedish and English.
Among the more unusual voice-over jobs I've done was in 2003 when I gave the English voice to Mrs Alving in Ibsen's 'Ghosts'. A guest performance by the Royal Dramatic Theatre at The Barbican, directed by Ingmar Bergman. Bergman didn't believe in text machines so he had four actors simultanously perform the lines in English which were fed to the audience memebers through and earpiece...!
