A brief history
Grahame first stepped on stage at the age of six. Throughout his school days Grahame was actively involved in drama production both in school and out, instigating a qualification for drama at his secondary school. However, when leaving school he was discouraged from following his dream and was told to choose a ‘proper job’. He chose art. For the next eight years, Grahame was a graphic artist, photographer, carpenter and occasional band member until he stumbled back into theatre. During the course of the next five years Grahame was cast by a number of companies, continuously at the Sherman Arena, in over fifteen short films, including graduation films for the NFTS, Newport and Bournemouth films schools, several feature films, a number of small roles on TV. He was also asked to teach at the Welsh College of Music and drama, (which he declined) and set up his own theatre company!
Grahame was then offered the first of many roles in 'The Bill', giving him his first taste of working in London. Another year in Cardiff and Grahame moved to London to pursue his career, aiming towards film. Since then Grahame has maintained his career working extensively in theatre including a number of acclaimed productions such as Terry Hands' 'One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest', and most recently The Tempest Directed by Trevor Nunn at Theatre Royal Haymarket, alongside Ralph Fiennes and Nicholas Lyndurst.
His numerous tv credits include: Kenning in "Game of Thrones", Smith in "The last Kingdom", Captain Barbarigo in "Da Vinci's Demons", Private Wholley in "Sons of LIberty", DI Cook in Casualty, Midsomer Murders, A Respectable Trade, EastEnders, The New Adventures of Robin Hood, Look Around You, Human Remains, to name but a few, while continuing his work in commercials, short films and feature films such as Chosen, Stormhouse, Darklands, One day in cochin and playing ‘Darrel Pridmore’ in the highly acclaimed 'LAVA'.
In 2012 Grahame completed filming on “Judas Ghost” a horror film playing the title role, for which he won the best supporting actor award at the 2014 Tabloid witch awards in Hollywood., "Bucky" a short film written and directed by Danny John-Jules, 'The Invisible woman', directed by Ralph Fiennes for Headline Pictures, One Chance a feature film directed by David Frankel, and Molly Moon - the incredible hypnotist for amber entertainment.
2014 was also a very busy year for Grahame, with countless credits for Turner Commercial Productions and ITV in amongst a hectic filming schedule, taking him all over Europe and beyond.
