I left the heartland of America to become a fulltime radio personality in Puerto Rico. So I'm willing to try anything. I'm the afternoon-drive host on a 3-station radio network out of San Juan. I work heavily with ads, imaging, and voiceovers as well. I'm the host of three radio programs (you can find one of them on iTunes. Just podcast "Hey Norma.") With over two years of experience in all aspects of voice, I'm capable and eager to tackle your job!
I attended Radio 1 Broadcast School in La Crosse, Wisconsin in 2005. After graduating there, I accepted my fulltime position here in Puerto Rico. I have participated in plays for many years. As an actor, speaker, and published novelist, I have a true feel for how the story works and how to hit punch lines perfectly. For two years running, I've accepted invitations to be the narrators of a set of Christmas plays here in San Juan. From radio imaging to on-hold messages, I'm here for your voiceover needs.
I have three professional studios at my disposal. I use several kinds of microphones, including Seinnheiser MD 421-0-5 (it's a nice workhorse, with great proximity effect), the Audio-Technica AT 3035 (my personal favorite--it's a warm choice for the money), and one AKG Perception 100 (this microphone is great for ramped-up vocals like imaging, etc.); I use the industry-standard Adobe Audition ® for my software and a Tascam DM-24 as my studio board of choice.
I literally live across the parking lot from my radio station, and I have 24-hour access to it. So your job will be done in a professional site and on time. My studio is my living room!
