I have almost no experience but a talent agent here in Portland, OR is interested and I recorded my 1st demos this week. Would love to break into the business and can take direction. Have been around the entertainment industry before as I promoted bands in NYC during the "grunge era". Was always mistaken for a somebody for my demeanor around celebrities in certain backstage situations cause I had to act like I belonged. Some funny situations arose from this. Celebs asking me who I was! Too funny, but throughout my life people have always commented on my voice and I was approached by several agents. I wanted to be in the music biz so I didn't take it seriously then, Iam now.
I must say, none. Hear what I can do, then make a decision. I feel Iam a natural, just never took it seriously until now.
Naturally funny. Iam a street vendor here in Portland, OR so I hone my act on the street everyday. I'm somewhat locally famous for my print ads in the Portland Mercury (a local rock/news paper) and my stories of life in NYC, Seattle, LA and Portland. and One of my friends got famous from NYC via South Carolina, Tyler Florence. For real, agents came around me 1st before him (I'm also a chef) but my music career was my baby and now I realize what I let slip!
