Voice Description
I am a voice over artist with a young, hip sound. I am great for video game characters, young soldiers, college kids, commercials, and especially animated characters. I have very high-energy reads, but can also dial it down for warm, caring, young dad / valentine's day boyfriend reads. Industrial and informative ads are something else I do. I'm the young urbanite with a zest for life, computers, technology, and everything cool.

My Voice Experience
When I was 21, I had no money and had to pay my rent. I was put on hold at my job testing video games - that's right, I used to play video games for a living and it was so awesome! - and needed some quick cash to pay the rent.
So that night, I ordered tickets to The Price is Right. I waited from 5a.m. until about 1 when the taping started, standing in line with my bright orange Syracuse University shirt hoping to earn a little food and shelter money...and have lots of fun.
We went through the line, talking to the casting people. I told them of my job playing games and they seemed to love me. I was just excited to say that I had a job killing people all day ( I tested a first-person shooter like Goldeneye).
Next thing I know, I'm in the TPIR studio. This was a place I saw most every sick day and summer vacation day as a kid. So when the audience started clapping, I went nuts with them! My friends with me were standing up, cheering! "It's a great show, but you guys must like it more than I do," I remember thinking. I didn't know that they actually called my name right away.
First one up. First one to make it on stage. First one to win all those fabulous prizes. And I got to meet Bob Barker, a kind and frail old man who took a surprising liking to me. He rocked!
I remember running out of the studio after the show and jumping on my friends, hugging them and saying, "food is on me for once!"
After that, I've pursued the entertainment arts vigorously. I work on a TV show called Robot Chicken, hosting the DVD Behind the Scenes videos. I worked at Wit Animation in 2005, recording temporary audio tracks and editing commercials. I've pursued voice over intensely, performing as an animated tie and animated fire cracker as buddy icons for AOL. And the road hasn't stop since.
My Training
I've learned voice over studying and engineering with Kalmenson & Kalmenson voice casting over the past two years. I also have taken classes on voice acting from Voice Caster and other workshops.
I also work on an animated television show, Robot Chicken, in which I am constantly learning and studying from the many performers and talents who walk through the studio doors.
My Studio Equipment
Home studio setup:
Microphones:
AT2020 condenser
LD1 condenser
Preamps/converters:

Additional Skills
I am a computer geek at heart. I work on a computer doing graphics and effects. I am a martial artist as well, having studied karate and kickboxing for four years in my life. Rock climbing, astronomy, watching lots of TV and movies, at one point on-air radio hosting, animating...all of these I've done and know about.
