- Experience, training, and equipmentNational and regional voice-over experience plus 20 years of recording and editing audio for both commercial and public radio. I now run my own, all digital voice studio. I have voiced nearly 100 books on tape, as well as advanced medical and academic audio course narrations. I have also done many character voices, museum audio tours and commercial spots. Past jobs include work for: -Coca-Cola -Mellon Financial -Altria Group -The History Channel -World Society for the Protection of Animals -National Public Radio -The Guggenheim Museum NYC -The Met. Museum of Art, NYC Emerson College, B.S. in Mass Communications Formal training in speech, voice, and articulation. Technical background in audio production on ProTools. Modified 4x6 Whisper Room vocal booth with a Neuman U-87 mic. All recording is digital to Protools (16/44 .wav files standard). Other mics, (including vintage ribbon type) also available if the job suits them. Professional stand-up comedian, singer (musicals and some light opera), years of training and performing in classical and contemporary theatre. All this experience means I can look at your project, "get it" quickly and take direction well.
