Zachary Brown www.the-voice-guy.com Trusted Commercial & Character Voice Actor I'm Zachary Brown, a full-time professional voice actor with over 5 years of experience and more than 2,000 successfully completed projects for clients around the world. My work has been featured in commercial campaigns, video games, feature films, trailers, corporate media, and broadcast projects for brands including Takis, Tactacam (DEFEND series), Ubisoft, and many more. I specialize in two areas: authentic commercial voiceover and immersive character performance. My commercial voice delivers a grounded, intelligent, conversational style—natural, relatable, confident, and trustworthy. For character work, I bring an actor-first approach with strong emotional range, specializing in heroes, villains, creatures, monsters, and cinematic performances. I began performing on stage at age 13 and developed my vocal skills through years of musical theater, choir, and competitive show choir, including serving as an Ambassador at Carmel High School. My early fascination with impressions, vocal mimicry, accents, and character creation became the foundation for the versatility I bring to every performance today. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a Minor in Radio/Television/Film from Indiana State University. Additional training includes professional voice acting and character performance coaching with Marc Graue, ongoing commercial and character coaching, and training through Jesse Carroll's Voice Over School (VOS). Professional Recording Studio I record from a professionally sound-treated broadcast-quality home studio featuring: • Sennheiser MKH 416 microphone • Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 interface • Pro Tools • Broadcast-quality WAV or AIFF delivery • Professional editing, de-breathing, mastering, and file splitting available ✔ Standard 24-hour turnaround ✔ Many projects delivered in under 4 hours ✔ Available for live-directed sessions via Source Connect, Zoom, and other major remote recording platforms Vocal Styles Conversational Authentic Friendly Relatable Confident Corporate Trustworthy Guy Next Door Warm Natural Dry Humor Sarcastic Cinematic Dramatic Gritty Intense Rugged Authoritative Energetic Calming Character Specialties Hero Villain Antihero Monster Creature Goblin Demon Wizard Soldier Cowboy Pirate Zombie Horror Fantasy Sci-Fi NPC Announcer Old Man Young Adult Mature Adult I can comfortably portray characters ranging from their 20s through 90s, with particular strengths in Young Adult, Adult, Middle-Aged, and Senior voices. I also have a little classical vocal training. • Excellent rhythm, timing, and lyrical delivery, making me a strong choice for musical dialogue, comedic performances, spoken-word, and rap-inspired reads. Whether your project calls for subtle realism, larger-than-life characters, comedy, horror, cinematic drama, or something completely unexpected, I enjoy collaborating with clients to find the voice that brings their vision to life.
