I absolutley love working on radio and began my career on a local Christian Station, WZXV in Victor, NY, voicetracking in the afternoons. I not only announced songs and upcoming events, but shared personal experiences and thoughts. I recieved extremely positive feedback. I left to persue a voice talent position at a larger radio station in Rochester, NY, Legends WLGZ. I began with voicetracking on the weekends and was was promoted to a new project, a duo team morning show. We did live contests, call-ins and generally had a blast with the listeners. I was also involved with remote events.
I was never formerly trained for voice tracking. My pastor needed female talent for the station and called me. I arrived at the station, recorded my first voice track and fell in love! Since that time, I've had a blast exploring the in's and outs of voice tracking, different radio opperating systems and expanding my radio experience. I have very strong people skills and love to talk to whomever about pretty much whatever. I love to have fun, free-flowing conversation that keeps the listener on their toes and entertained.
I do not have my own equipment, but have worked with the Next Gen system.
I love to sing and am a member of our worship team at church. I am currently taking voice lessons to improve my range and stamina. And most importantly, I love to sing everywhere...I mean everywhere! Shower is the best venue. I am orriginally a Fashion Design Major and am persuing that creative part of me through purse designing. It's a great way to connect with the local community and local artists. You wouldn't believe how many women approach me wanting to know where I got my purse. I love telling them I made it and then hand them my business card. It's a great feeling for an artist!
