i have been singing, acting, and otherwise using my voice professionally since age 8. i first sang and acted in the metropolitan opera, the nyc opera, in off-broadway productions, as well as in various music projects over the last few decades.
Currently I produce, and do the voiceover work for commercial ads and promotions for a successful company in the gaming entertainment software industry, and a leading company in the online investing and financial services industry.
I am also composing a new music, comedy and magic show. it involves working on a solo production involving an ensemble of artists, a cd, dvd, website, and more.
my latest band was "Jesterhood" (jan. 2006 - april 2009). i sang bass and tenor and played bass. we composed all our own original materials and even released a 5 song "Single" CD. you can see / hear my voice in various clips at the bottom of the page at: jesterhood.com
i have done commercial voiceover work including an advertisement for MoviesPlanet.com, a movie download site, you can see that ad at:

In early 2009, I did voiceover work for a movie trailer. It is a middle ages / fantasy movie, created by some of the leaders in the Real-Time Role Playing Games community. I read the movie trailer script in a dramatic low bass voice in both the American and mock-German versions.
in 2008-2009 I worked on an entertainment review television show, where i was brought on as the on-camera host. the same production company also brought me in for voiceover work as a classic "announcer" voice. the same production company also asked me to be one of their stock voiceover talents.
Highlights:
in 1976, at age four, while living in London, England, i gave my first public cello performance on the BBC television. i played a piece by Mozart. i have been developing and practicing my artistic talents since then.
In 1980, in New York City, i trained to sing, speak and act on stage at the Metropolitan Opera, while working professionally for their Children's Chorus. Simultaneously I joined the New York City Opera where I joined their Children's Chorus as well.
In 1984, in Manhattan, I was an unpaid extra in a scene shot at the intersection of 62nd Street & Madison Avenue in the movie Ghostbusters.
In 1984 I read for an off-broadway play with Michael York, about a noble Austrian family's drama during wartime. I read for the lead child's role. After many rehearsals, we performed a reading of the script once, to a packed house.
Between 1985 and 1994 while living in suburban Philadelphia, Israel, Europe and Washington, DC, I was involved as an actor and singer in various amateur productions, including Fiddler on the Roof and The Wiz.
I hold a B.A. (Major: Liberal Arts, Minor: Judaic Studies) from The George Washington University (CCAS, 1994).
In 1996, My colleague and I publicly presented a report we produced on behalf of the Association for Interactive Media, a Washington, DC lobby, to the U.S. Congress' Senate Judiciary Committee. Historically, it is also on record as the first committee hearing transmitted by live by webcast over the Internet. That same year, we presented a report about the critical nature of the Internet to a classified committee of experts tasked by the President of the United States.
In my work as an entrepreneur , I have been producing media and been in the media for various television, radio and newspaper/magazine interviews including: CBS 60 Minutes, The New York Times, NPR, and too many to write here.
My studio includes:
* a Zoom H2 digital recorder / microphone - great for vocals and voiceover recordings.
* a behringer eurorack 16-channel mixer for multi-channel recordings.
* a linux computer with editing software and broadband cable internet connection.
* a VOIP phone line with a U.S. number that follows me to my computer anywhere on Earth.
* Musical equipment including guitars, bass guitars, ukelele, effect pedals, amplifiers, microphones, harmonicas, kazoos, various percussion and other noisemaker and soundmaking instruments.
* a samsung video camera using tape.
* a samsung smartphone, the camera and microphone are both very good for creating that "high quality / low-budget" effect.
My depth of experience in cultures and varied fields, from academic to public service to professional, make me an ideal voiceover talent for a wide body of work.
When you google me, my bona fides should speak for themselves. I operate on-time, and on-budget.
