BW Gonzalez is an actor/director/writer and has directed for the following theatre companies: Umbrella Stage Company, Concord, MA Sacramento Theatre Company, San Francisco Mime Troupe. Ms. Gonzalez has also directed for Santa Clara University and University of California Davis. As an actor, Ms. Gonzalez was last seen in Wipeout at the Sacramento Theatre Company as well as the ensemble for The Colored Museum at Umbrella Stage. Other credits include Arrested Development on Netflix as Lupe. Ms. Gonzalez has also worked as an actor for the following theatre companies: American Repertory Theatre, American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco, The San Francisco Mime Troupe, The Huntington Theatre Company, Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, Denver Theatre Center, Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Berkeley Repertory Theatre, LA Women’s Shakespeare, and Center Repertory Theatre. At the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Ms. Gonzalez performed such notable roles as Lady Macbeth in Macbeth, Masha in The Three Sisters, Cassandra in Trojan Women, Ariel in The Tempest, and Good Person of Szechuan as Shen Te/Shui Ta. Other plays include Joe Turner’s Come and Gone, Uncle Vanya, Restoration, Cymbeline, The Winter’s Tale, and Titus Andronicus. Ms. Gonzalez is the recipient of a Citation of Excellence in Theatre Arts from the Massachusetts House of Representatives.
