"I'VE HEARD THAT VOICE!"
William's natural age range is 35-55 and William has a warm, resonant, sincere baritone voice. William is accomplished at relaxed, conversational, believable soft sell attitudes such as friendly, calm, soothing, sentimental, folksy, story telling, caring, trustworthy regular guy next door and down to earth (like Hal Riney Morning in America). William can do romantic, sexy, sensual and sophisticated or luxurious, rich, expensive and snooty like (James Sloyan of Lexus). William can also perform strong professional hard sell attitudes such as serious, newsy, authoritative, confident, energetic, enthusiastic and convincing. And an authentic down home good old boy read (like Sam Elliott).
William is adept at the new edgy attitudes such as argumentative, flippant, sarcastic, wry, bored, monotonous monotone, deadpan, casual and smartass. William can also do dramatic reads such as movie trailer (Don LaFontaine ), tv promo, audiobook or natural regular guy on the street testimonial reads.
In addition to this William performs a wide variety of character attitudes like big announcer parody, NFL films ( John Facenda ), professor, psychiatrist, sinister, evil villain, super hero, hip, geek, nerd, goofy, jolly, naive, wild, zany, wacky, kooky, nutty, quirky, funny and humorous.
William is an excellent, directable voice actor and can interpret the emotional subtleties in copy and words and connect emotionally with the listener audience. When you request an emotion in William's voice for a certain line William can produce that emotion and subtle variations of it. Some examples might be angry, happy, sad, disappointed, satisfied, relieved, concerned, worried, confused, surprised and more complex emotions such as exasperated, jealous, envious, dejected, hopeful, amazed and astounded and of course nonplussed.
William is experienced in reading a variety of corporate industrial copy from dramatic and romantic to straight forward and instruction and William can phrase bullets and outline points well with William's voice to clearly lead the listener through the logic of a presentation. William is excellent at pronouncing and understanding medical, chemical, technical and electronic terms.
William does a variety of accents and dialects including British R.P., Cockney, Irish, Scottish, Australian, U.S. Southern (Appalachian and Plantation Drawl), New York, Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Western Cowboy and Old Miner, California Surfer Stoner, French, German, Italian, Hungarian, Swedish, Norwegian, Russian, Spanish, etc. (just ask). William does these accents with different pitches and resonances and vocal quirks to create a wide variety of believable, entertaining characters with interesting personalities.
William does a wide variety of character voices with age ranges from 3 to 103 with many resonances and speech quirks. William does celebrity impressions and impersonations including classics like Humphrey Bogart, Edward G. Robinson, John Wayne, Peter Lorre, Jimmy Stewart, Boris Karloff, Marlon Brando and modern stars such as Sylveter Sly Stallone, Joe Pesci, Sean Connery, Arnold Schwartzenegger, Clint Eastwood, and Christopher Walken. William also does real and simulated historical characters such as George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, Franklin Roosevelt, John F. Kennedy, Richard M. Nixon, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, Ross Perot, George Bush and Bill Clinton. And of couse the ubiquitous Don LaFontaine.
William is great choice for radio and tv commercials, promos, trailers, corporate industrial narration, documentaries, telephone IVR and on hold, animation and character voices, impressions and impersonations, audiobooks and books on tape, training videos, internet and podcast presentations.

Experience, training, and equipment
I have been a voice over artist since 1987 and have done work for biggies like Apple Computer, Princess Cruises, Greyhound, AT&T, U.S. Forest service, Chicago Trubune, Sun Sentinal and also for small companies Like George Webb Restaurants, Yudavision, Snirk, Radar Golf and tons of industrials. No job is too big or too small... OK, maybe that one is too small... But not THAT one...
I've owned and operated Aliso Creek Productions since 1987. We write, cast, produce and direct radio commercials and industrial audio and also do specialized music production.
Before that I was a Director of Marketing for Beckman which is a large Electronics and Medical Instrumentation Company so I was the honcho of a client company and worked with ad agencies and production companies in that capacity. Thus I have worked as a talent on one side of the glass and as a director and a client on the other. This gives me an excellent perspective on interpreting the copy in both an artistic and commercial way. Snerg
I've also taught voice-overs at the Aliso Creek Voice Over Workshop since 1994 and many of my students are registered with voice123.
I also worked as a Rock and Roll singer early on... And somewhere in there I got a degree in Philosophy from UCLA.

I run my own studio so my recordings are top quality and I thoroughly understand all things computer such as uploading, file conversion, sample formats, sample rates, AIFF, WAV, MP3, bit rates, etc. And I understand audio such as phone patch, ambient sound, signal to noise ratio, headroom, compression, limiting, normalizing, mic technique, proximity effect, CDs etc. So you get excellent recordings and the files like you want them when you want them.
I worked in the electronics and chemical and medical instrumentation industries so I'm not afraid of big words like Deoxyribonucleic acid or MicroFarad but I might have a bit of trouble with pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis... well, maybe not.
I'm easy to work with, creative, fun, serious, professional and reliable. And I go the distance to make sure you and your clients get what you want and what you need.
And, yes, my mother really did name me William Williams.
