I've worked in radio since 2007 and what a great way to experiment with what your voice can do !! I could hardly call it work because it's such great fun. On any given day I could be in the studio concocting a singing jingle for an on-air promo about burgers, to providing imaging work for a sister station. Smooth and slick with a whole lot of attitude, or warm and fuzzy and totally kid friendly. I've voiced ads as a 7 year old kid and I've voiced ads as a fading, senile granny. I've played a busy mum with no time to spare and I've played a dominatrix with no patience for wimps !! I've been the British voice for a GPS, I've been a rawking New York nasty neighbour. Variety ? Yes please !!!
In 2007 I completed a course at Melbourne Radio School. Soon after I began work as an ad copywriter in a regional radio station and began learning about voicework on the job ! I also completed a Voiceover Workshop with Melbourne Radio School.
