I have a warm, friendly, natural voice that works well for commercials, medical and other narrations, announcements and educational voiceover projects. I can give you an experienced, confident read for corporate work, as well as a charming older lady for the senior market, and funny old-lady character voices. I can make it edgier when the project calls for it. I am a smooth reader for longer projects, such as audiobooks.

I am based in Chicago and can quickly reach any studio in the Chicago-Milwaukee-Indianapolis region.
My home studio includes Source Connect Standard with an strong ethernet connection. I record with a Mojave MA 200 tube condenser microphone, an Avalon M5 preamp, a Scarlett 18i8 audio interface and Adobe Audition recording and editing software. Home-audio expert Dan Lenard helped me fine-tune my audio setup and the acoustics in my recording space.
I have been trained in voice-over techniques by Jeff Lupetin at The Acting Studio in Chicago, and Sherri Berger. I also have been coached by Gabrielle Nistico at VoiceHunter and Elaine Clark of VoiceOne (commercials), Anne Ganguzza (medical narration) Kevin Delaney (promos), Adam Verner (audiobooks) and Pat Fraley (gaming). I have also attended voice-over workshops at the Voice 2010 and Voice 2012 conferences in Los Angeles and Voiceover Atlanta in 2014.
I studied audio recording through Harper College in Palatine, IL with recording engineer John Towner.
I am represented by Lori Lins Ltd. in Chicago and Milwaukee.
Before entering the voice-over world, I worked for 28 years as a copy editor and photo editor at a large Chicago newspaper. I also did some website editing there.
I have been a long-time member, section leader and board member for the Chicago Master Singers, a large classical chorus.
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in news-editorial journalism from Northern Illinois University, with a minor in Spanish.
