I am new to the voice over world. I only have experience through my current job. I am a Service Manager for a Diesel repair and towing shop. My boss wanted me to write and record a on-hold VO for the shop. He wanted me to do a super hero character called Captain Sav-A-Ho (his words, it actually went over well, even with the women). I wrote the script, done all of the production, characterizations (one squirrel character (The Capt), one henchman (Capt's sidekick, The Labrat), the Damsel-in-distress and the good hearted soul that told the Capt, all of the sound EFX ad music bed). It ran for about 2 months on the shop's on-hold system. I have, since then (September 2010), been on extended leave because of a problem with my back (irreparable by surgery). As far as I know my boss is not playing it anymore, he says, I'm not there so he can't brag about it. I am actually looking for a career change. I don't want to offend any of the seasoned vets, and I am willing to learn as much as I can. I have been extensively practicing and re-honing my voice for all situations.
I am currently awaiting enrollment in American Broadcasting School. Most of the voice overs I have done has been self-taught. I am also a musician (sing, guitar, bass and drums).
Graduated from Audio Institute as an Sound Engineer in 2005.

Tenacious, won't quit until the job is done, and done exactly the way you want.
Will do my best, and I take direction and criticism well.
I won't offer any ideas, unless asked by the client. In example, if the client asks for a talking elephant for a outboard motor for a speed boat, and I feel that won't represent the product well, but the client is adamant about the elephant, then the client will get their talking elephant regardless of what I think.
Will do my best to get the VO to them on time and in the correct format.
Respect is earned, not given.
You will be treated professionally, honestly, and without drama.
