Coming from a long career as a court stenographer working federal grand jury cases, where she dealt with murderers and thieves every day, Jody switched gears in 2010, trained at the Burt Reynolds Institute for Film and Theater, and began an acting career where she played murderers and thieves on stage. Two of her favorite roles include the wicked stepsister in Cinderella, and singing in a rendition of Bob Hope’s USO Tour. A natural shift into the voice-over business came about when Covid hit and theaters went dark.
Her professional studio in West Palm Beach, Florida, includes a dedicated Whisper room equipped with a Scarlett Solo Studio Microphone, Focusrite third-generation Audio Interface, Audacity, and a noise floor under -60dB
