About Madara
Madara Jayasena is a Sri Lankan-American actor and voiceover artist with a default neutral American accent. Incidentally born to two biotech scientists, she grew up half and half in Boulder, CO and Thousand Oaks, CA. Now based in Los Angeles, she has been professionally acting for over 11 years in film, tv, commercials, and voiceover. You can catch her on hit shows like Grey’s Anatomy, Rutherford Falls, Rebel, The Young and the Restless, and several national commercials. She also voiced Lina Bashir on QCODE’s Last Known Position. Madara’s training includes improv, scene study, voice, audition technique, and commercial technique with several top Los Angeles teachers and studios. Skilled at a broad range of accents, Madara is a full time actor who can provide broadcast quality and a fast turnaround.
