I started doing voice-overs when a stranger (at the time), asked me to record the voice-mail for his law offices. Then, by referral, I did the voice-mail of most of the other law offices in the area. Since then I have done books on tape, travel guides and/or commercials, featured in songs; narratives, lead-ins or announcer and some animated projects and video game characters.
In my day-job, I am a host/MC/spokes-model. My voice is one of my best assets. I also do stand up, so I am very good at emoting and changing the energy in my voice.
I have taken semester long courses from Act4Reel voice overs, as well as private instruction from established voice over actors and sound techs.
I have access to studios in Burbank, where all of the magic happens! I also have my own, in-home studio.
I grew up between Europe and the US, and my family is Russian, Chinese (Mother's side) and American (father). Growing up with access to all of that rich culture, and diversity in language has allowed me to call upon those voices, and appeal to many different sorts.
Doing live and stage performances has honed my skills down to an almost "one-take" perfection! =^D
