I have been in broadcasting for 15 years. I have worked in radio but Television is what I do. Before TV, I enjoyed working as a customer service rep for telemarketing firms in Atlanta, Ga. My voice is easy going and I hear that a lot when I make public appearances and speak to kids in school.
I have received help from talent coaches in the past. It has helped me with projecting my voice as I am sometimes soft spoken. As a broadcaster, voice overs are something I do daily. But for the last few years, I have been doing voice overs for trainning videos and I really enjoy it. Acting in plays in college helped build the foundation along with a few years in radio. TV paid the bills though. I have a degree in communications from Coker College and I studied abroad at the University of London for a year.
I am a father so I am familiar with a lot of cartoon characters my kids watch.
I have to interview a lot of politicians so I am familiar with snobs.
