Vanessa has a classic non-accented American voice, and her natural speaking voice has been described as inviting and warm. She has an approachable, girl-next-door charm and fun, up-beat energy that engages listeners and puts them at ease. She has done documentary work with a professional and educational tone, while maintaining that smooth, warm style. She specializes in a confident, natural, conversational tone, that is clear and authentic. With a background in audiobook narration, she also works well with long scripts and maintains a consistent tone throughout, even while accented.

      Vanessa has experience working in the following accents: California valley girl, Southern, Midwestern, Wisconsin, British (from high society to cockney), Australian, Italian, Eastern European. She's also a big fan of accent work, so if you require something specific, that's right up her alley. She has several character voices at her disposal, from a cute and cuddly animated character, to an evil queen, to an angsty millennial. Vanessa is a trained singer, with years of musical theater experience from childhood through college. So she is very comfortable singing a jingle for your advertisement, or performing a song in character, if needed.

      Vanessa is a classically trained theater actress, and a graduate from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. With her theater background, she understands the importance of bringing individualized character to every role, and loves to dive in. She is relativity new to voice work. She started out in scripted podcasts, and doing some light narration work for friends in the LA area, and she fell in love with the art of voice acting. Since then, she has completed several audiobooks (from light romance to supernatural thrillers to self help), done work on BTB videos and phone systems, as well continuing her work in podcasts. Vanessa has a home studio with a Rode NT1-A microphone, run through an M-Audio M-Track 2X2, to a MacBookPro, where she edits on Apple's Logic Pro X.
