In my earlier college days, I took a communications class. My instructor commented that I have a smooth voice; good for public speaking. I knew he was sincere because he only made similar comments to a few students.
My voice was used in a telephone menu tree (directory)for a Public Water Utility.
I created training material using adobe captivate. My voice was used in several training documents (narration) for Goodrich Corporation. My bosses boss listened and told me that I have a great recording voice. Not too fast and not too slow. Perfect for training.
I have a bachelors degree in Public Administration. My minor is Television, Film and New Media. I've worked with a few audio production software programs. Adobe Captivate allows you to record voice and screen shots for training. I like using the software. One important thing I've learned is timing the voice just right is optimally important. I also have experience with Acid Pro.
I took several acting classes and love theatre. I am still on a learning path. Most recently, I've began writing a screenplay which uses a lot of dialogue. On the job training with Adobe Captivate has proven to be quite successful. I have created several e-learning documents with complete narration.
