About Trudi
I have been a voice actress since 2015, doing primarily audiobooks using many characters and accents for fiction, and straight, personal and intelligent delivery for non-fiction. I have produced 20 audiobooks over the past 7 years (having had to take breaks for multiple episodes of cancer between 2017 and 2021 and a relocation from CA or Oregon in 2021). I have studied the audiobook and voiceover crafts with teachers such as Patrick Fraley, P.J. Ochlan, and most recently with commercial voiceover specialist, Larry Hudson, who also taught me the use of AUDITION software. I record in my own studio at home in Oregon using AUDACTIY or AUDITION software, depending on the assignment; and I prepare fully edited and mastered mp3's for submission to the publisher or client. I have been a classical singer most of my life and so have a voice characterized by a lot of nuance. My authors love my work and I am considered a versatile performer whose background is stage acting in both contemporary and Shakespearean theater. I have not been auditioning for commercial voiceover projects but hope to establish myself in that field. My voice is my favorite tool and I hope you will invite me to use it on your client's or product's behalf.

They have been as varied as Western and Eastern European (including Russian), standard British, Irish, Scots, and Scandinavian, as well as the occasional Asian characters in the Agent Nora Wexler novels. I have 30+ years as a classical singer in choral and opera settings and so am good at pronunciation of foreign words in German, French and Italian.
