About Troy
Most people would descibe my voice as 'Deep'- And, true enough, it is deep. but, not deep like 'Bottom-of-the-Ocean' deep. or when a Blue Whale goes MMOOOOOWWWWAAAAUUUUUGGHEEEEEP! - not that kind of deep. It's more like 'Canyon Deep'. Except, not like the Grand Canyon. nowhere near that deep. I've never been to the Grand Canyon myself, even though I lived in Phoenix for 8 years. But I would assume there are some baby Grand Canyons that splinter off from the daddy Grand Canyon? Kind of like that. Except, not gravelly or with all the hard rocks. If you were to accidentally trip and fall into my voice, you might get bruises, but no cuts. And you wouldn't die when you hit the bottom, because it's pretty soft down there.

- Experience, training, and equipmentI've done just about every kind of voiceover job during my 25 year career, except porn (not PROFESSIONALLY, wink wink....). Not that have anything against porn, what if I were to run for President someday? Not that I have any political aspirations, but why close any doors, you know? Anyway, I've been fortunate enough to voice some great scripts- The World Golf Championship, Miller Genuine Draft, and Jeep Cherokee among them.... But I can do crap too- So, don't feel like you have to come up with a work of Hemingway copy on my account. The way I see it, my job is to make YOUR copy sound FANTASTIC. Even if it is crap. Which, I'm not saying it is - YOUR copy's great! I trained with voice coaches for 15 years, attended various voice over and creative summits for 5 years. Now in my tenth year of therapy, I can just about walk into a room with a copy stand without throwing up. It sounds good. I'm a pretty good direction-taker, so you can give me your requirements, and know that I'll get it pretty close in a take or two. Usually it's that third time that's the charm.
