About Travis
(he/him)I have been utilizing my resonant, melodious voice in a variety of mediums for decades, including radio, podcasts, internet video content, video games and live music performances. During much of the 2010s I was a regular guest on 99.9 KISW's Metal Shop radio show, where I was know for my deep radio voice and a wide range of vocal contortions. In regards to voice acting I have experience in comedy with the Metal Shop Backstage Pass podcast, as well as with my own Youtube series Saurian News Network. I have recently expanded into the horror and sci fi genres, having recorded dialogue for several characters in the video game Deep Cuts (available on Steam and Meta Quest). It has been a lifelong dream of mine to voice act in a video game, and I have been a huge horror fan for just as long, so I would very much love to do more work in these directions. My voice can also be a great fit for any "In a world..." type narration needs. I can also edit my own vocal tracks down to what is usable, without dead air or mistakes, for an additional fee.

- Additional vocal abilitiesI can do a variety of regional American accents, including southern, Scorcese film Italian, California "surfer dude" and my native PNW speech. I can impersonate Orson Wells, Gary Owens, George Takei, Penn Gillette, Col. Sarge, Oderus Unrungus, Bender B. Rodriguez, Beetlejuice and Grimlock. As a death metal vocalist I have the ability to create deep, guttural noises ranging from demonic to bestial and animal-like.
- Experience, training, and equipmentI have nearly a decade of radio voice over experience, twenty years of extreme metal vocal experience, live and in the studio, and I performed the voices for several named NPCs in the video game Deep Cuts. I have a simple home setup where I can record straight into a DAW or upload from several other devices, including iphone and tape recorder. I can also edit my own takes if we decide that's part of the deal.
