I started doing voice-over in 2005 while attaining my B.S. degree in Acting for Theatre and Film.
I've recorded several regional commercial voice-overs for TV and Radio, as well as for offstage characters in various theatrical productions.
After completing my degree and training, I moved to Los Angeles, CA to continue my on-camera, theatrical, and voice-over career. To further my skills, I have taken workshops through The Voicecaster in L.A.
Northern Michigan University - B.S. in Theatre/Film Study
Regional Commercial Voice-Over & On-Camera (Midwest)
Voicecaster Workshops with Huck Liggett - Burbank, CA
Private Voice-Over Lessons with Casting Director Kelly L. Passinault - Los Angeles, CA
Animation Intensive with Ginny McSwain, Nickelodeon
Improv Intensives, Second City, Chicago
Several short films and on-screen commercials, Michigan and California
100+ theatrical productions (including VO for offstage characters) - Michigan, Wisconsin, and California
I own a professional recording studio for both auditions and final products. Equipment varies through four different sound booths, but includes the option of ISDN and Phone Patch if needed, as well as MP3s, WAVs, or AIFs by e-mail or FTP. Microphones available include AKG, Rode, Sennheiser, Shure, and Samson.
With my strong acting background, I am able to bring to voice-over a side of acting that can be difficult for VO artists that do not have a background in theatre, film and television. My experiences from other projects outside of voice-over are what make me a stronger VO Artist.
Previous clients have deemed me as easy to work with, takes direction well, natural acting instincts, fun personality, quick learner, excellent interpretation of copy, quick turn-around for auditions and final product, personalized services offered, professional demeanor and positive attitude.
I look forward to working with you!
