I've been working in Radio and doing Voice-over work for 30 years and have won numerous awards (BOLI awards-BEST OF LONG ISLAND) in the Long Isalnd/New york area for my writing, voice, and production skills. I am also an announcer for the New York Rangers Hockey Club at Madison Square Garden, which requires a strong delivery in front of a live audience. I am an "out of the box thinker" and love to challenge myself when it comes to creating the perfect voice-over for whatever the situation. While working at a Long Island radio station, My voice-over work has been chosen over "agency" work, as the best in the long island area as voted by the long island advertising club (liac.org). Being a Disc Jockey the past 15 years, writer, producer and a morning show host, I find humor to be one of my strongest skills. I've done voice overs for voice mail, on hold greetings, car dealers, food stores, concert spots, lawyers, actually, too many too mention. Please give my demo a listen, and I'm sure I can "deliver" for you.
I Have a 4 year Communications/Broadcasting degree from The State University of New York at Oswego, and also studied Theater at the University of London, in England for a semester. I also worked as an Adjunct Professor at Long Island University teaching Broadcasting.
I often do public speaking appearances in front of large audiences. And when in front of a large live audience, your opening line is most important in grabbing thier attention. The way you use inflection is also extremely important to be able to "grab" them and "hold" them. I use this same philosophy as a voice over talent.
