Cartoons, Dubbing, Commercial Videos, Ads, in house training videos, Internet videos, and almost everything else.
The years that I have spent in studios have helped me when faced with a client, or better still a creative from an ad agency, who asks me to do the same but: "redder" or with a little more passion and a slight sense of frustration. Interpreting exactly what a client wants and trying to get as close as possible to it has been what I have learnt most over the years. The technique is easy in many ways, what is important is being able to mould that technique to the requirements of any particular project.
Actor living and working in Spain since the end of the 80's. My training is continuous and often hands on, a sort of pay as you go training that actors go through each time they step on a set or a stage. I have also done too many courses to mention here, they have included projects focusing often on voice control and projection.
I also have a hugely useful B.A. in anthropology from Durham University (UK).
I have a small, fully functional, Studiobricks One home studio where my iMac and Mac BookPro are beautifully off set by my SE Electronics SE 2200a II C with Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 audio interface. The soundproofing is great, as is control of reverbs. At the moment I am using Adobe Audition and Garage Band for recording, compressing etc etc. I can upload files in whatever format you choose.
I am a trained and working actor which I believe has been very important in my long and varied voice career. It has given me a versatility in interpreting texts which is fundamental, an ability to listen to clients' constructive criticism and amend my style accordingly.
