I have a background in radio where I have hosted top 40, hip-hop, alternative, jazz, and mature audience shifts. Over this time I recorded a number of public service announcements (PSA's) & commercial drops.
Outside of the radio realm, I have appeared in amateur stage plays and also done live narrations in plays and multi-media artistic installations.
Having a deep voice may suit well for characters who are just that, deep, dark and villainous. The range and clarity I can provide, however, bodes well when a significant message or otherwise point needs to be delivered.
I deliver lectures and presentations in conference and corporate settings and am an educator by nature.

Microphones that are used vary depending on availability. I prefer cardiods, but the mic used is dependent on purpose of the intent of the recording. I have a deep voice, so an omni may keep the proximity effect from making my voice sound to "boomy".
Microphones last used:
Sennheiser e 914
AKG C1000S
Experimenting with Ribbons
I prefer good recordings over post-production touch-ups
Other equipment includes a host of software & plug-ins, typically Mac.
