Everyone always told me I should be a phone sex operator... But here's the thing: my mom has always produced my voice work - so that'd be too awkward. I've been in the studio since I was a baby, watching & learning my expert of a mother perfect her craft.
Apparently some talents are genetic.
My most recent experience has been with commercials for local & regional businesses, plus a steady gig as the imaging voice behind a local hit music station. My voice tends to be requested for any project that requires an expressive, young-sounding female. I can turn up the warmth for a fancy boutique, or hype it up for a friendly sale reminder. Versatility is the name of my game.
I have a degree in Communication from the University of New Mexico. Member of WoVo. Many experience hours & in-studio training. Stage experience. Years of computer use, including audio editing & graphic design programs.
Easy access to both professional & home studios. Use of Cool Edit Pro & Adobe Audition. iPad.
I've always worked in community-based customer service jobs. Though I'm a natural leader, I take direction very well and my main goal is to create products that meet every need of my client. I think on my feet and am a resourceful & creative problem solver. My experience working as Front of House for many events demonstrates my ability to perform customer service duties while maintaining a friendly public demeanor. I have a creative mindset and enjoy making a wide array of artsy things - anything from collage to painting, plus graphic design.
