I completed a degree in Performing Arts at the University of Western Sydney, in Australia in 1995. In the course of our studies we learned intensively how to manipulate the voice via years of daily training of the breath, voice projection and control, singing, character and dialect work. Within the course we learned how to put these skills into practice via the media of film, radio, television and theatre.
I am a trained actor, singer and voice-over artist. I worked in Australia for many years acting for theatre, TV, film and radio before moving to Belgium in 2006.
I worked as a Radio Presenter for Eastside Radio, a community Jazz and Arts radio station in Sydney, Australia for more than 4 years. During that time I also produced and recorded regular station commercials and announcements for the radio station. I also worked for the Community Radio Satellite Station of Australia (ComRadSat) where I was responsible for sending out programs live to air as well as doing regular on air announcements.
I recorded 'About Face' - an album of jazz standards, singing with a piano/bass/drums jazz trio in Australia in 2004. I now work also as a session singer and am currently working on a pop/acoustic project.
