My very first memories of using my voice is elementary school when I was asked to recite the Pledge of Allegiance at the beginning of every school day (I even had to memorize and recite it in Spanish) I started doing voice over work in college, my best friend was a Radio and TV major and she had several projects that required voice overs...commercials, pre recorded PSA's etc. She also was a DJ on our college radio station at Iona College...often I would tag along and introduce songs, take calls for request and conduct on-air trivia contest for the listeners.....After college once I entered the work force I was asked to record the on-hold message and night-phone recorded message for EquiSearch...I was also the voice prompt that led you thru our automated system....
