Since I was old enough to talk I have loved acting, pretending to be someone else, changing my voice to fit the character, unfortunately I didn't grow up to be a great beauty, so acting seemed a far and distant dream. Despite my appearance I never lost the desire to be an actor and so turned to the field of voice over acting where I could continue to pursue my one great love. While my career experiences to voice acting is limited, I did work for about a year at a radio station, where I was able to record my own show. While I do have experience in broadcasting I look forward to expanding my career field to include commercials, cartoons, audio books and whatever voice over projects I can get my hands on.
I have a BA from the University of Oregon in theater, where I studied acting styles in both comedy and drama. I also studied music and have classical and jazz vocal training. In the last few years I have taken several classes in accents and dialects. I am also a member of the National Forensics League, where I have participated in oral competitions for narration.
