I have worked in the voice over industry for over a decade now. I was a theatre major at university. After university I stumbled upon voice work when the man who is now my husband suggested I try it, since one of his favorite things about me is my voice. I had my first job about 16 years ago and I have been fortunate enough to keep working throughout the years. I have worked for Bank of America, HP, Glaxo Smith Klein, Xerox, Nike, and many others (including video games). I've done commercial, narration, and character work. I look forward to my next voice over adventure!
I was a theatre major at university, where I had many Voice and Diction classes and Dialect classes. I trained at what is now The Portland Actor's Conservatory in Portland, Oregon as well. I sometimes workshop with other voice actors to have fun and stay well tuned. I had no idea that when my 2nd grade teacher said, "she reads with such expression" that I would be fortunate enough to cultivate that into a career! Miss Smith was so insightful.
I have an M-Box loaded with Protools by Digidesign. My microphone is an Audio Teknica 4040. I can record, edit, and email finished voice files or burn a CD if that's what you're after. You can listen in during the session via telephone or I can record everything and send it to you if you prefer. I look forward to working with you.
