I was born acting or at least that what my family tells me. I have never been anything but a character..THE IRONY is now, I am trying to do me professionally. I suppose you could say that I just woke up today! I was recently at a function for women and there was a guest speaker there who advised us that if you know what your God given gift is, you should be doing that and nothing else. Well, I know what my gifts are..SINGING, Writing somgs (good ones too) and SPEECH...and though I have been blessed to have sang with professionals I never stuck it out there for just ME...Now I want to "stay in my lane" as the speaker stated. "If you know your lane-get out of the other guys lane and stick to the road you know best"...SO here I am..and I am ready to take this trip staying in MY lane.. I have never received formal training. I have been asked to do all of the voice over work, and singing and by word of "mouth" my experience grew. I am in it for the long haul. I believe in seeing the project through to the end..I am not perfect however I am a perfectionist. I work in a call center atmosphere so it is important to be the Voice of the company and treat the client with courtesy and professionalism. We keep a mirror on our desk to look at ourselves and make sure that we "smile" so that it comes through in our voices..a lot of people ignore that mirror..I pay attention to details like that smile..it goes a long way. I have been a professional recording vocalist for over 20 years and am quite versed in vocal articulations, pitch, and enunciation. I am serious about my work. And to date have received no complaints in my works. I am currently one of the lead singers for In The Mix Band out of Dallas, TX and have performed for local and national celebrities for over 10 years.
