I have been an actor for 20+ years and have had voiceover experience with several multi-media ad campaigns that I was cast in. I recently studied commercial VO and character VO with David Coury, on staff at the Howard Fine Studio in Los Angeles. I voiced a video game character for a student project at American Film School in L.A. I recently was accepted into and attended a Netflix-sponsored dubbing workshop at Roundabout Entertainment in L.A. I am a current SAG-AFTRA member. My equipment consists of: Audio-Technica 2020, USB microphone. with pop filter Audacity Software I have had voice over instruction at Radio Garage in Des Moines, IA and with Voice Results in Minneapolis, MN in 2012. I am currently represented for VO at Quartz Talent Agency and have been represented for VO with the Talent Poole Talent Agency. Clients that I have done voiceover jobs for include Simpson College; Caplan University, Medicap Pharmacy, which was a regional commercial throughout the country; Grand Casino radio commercial and and two industrial projects at Kaplan University. I graduated, with honors, with a B.A. in Acting from Simpson College in 2003. This education included a semester of oral interpretation and one in dialects for Irish, American Southern and Standard British. I was a member of the Actor's Workout with Raye Birk at The Guthrie and am currently receiving vocal coaching from Andrew Cooke. I also has classical, solo voice training from UW-Madison, Augusta College-Georgia & Simpson College. I have studied under Cheryl Moore Brinkley for on camera acting technique and have taken Improv for the Camera classes and several, general, beginning Improv classes.I have also completed a beginning Roy-Hart workshop and an Archetype workshop with Lucinda Holshue.
