Steve Velardi is a voice actor based in his hometown, Brooklyn, New York. Steve graduated from Emerson College in 1998, with a BFA in musical theatre. While at Emerson, Steve appeared on both of the college radio stations, the campus station WECB-AM, and the acclaimed WERS-FM, which broadcasts to a major portion of New England, as co-host of the popular Standing Room Only. After graduating, Steve spent the next couple of decades acting and directing several productions in regional and community theaters in and around NYC. While working in these theaters, Steve was often complimented on his speaking voice. He was asked to host events, and record pre-show announcements. More recently, Steve has been asked to record sound cues for various productions, giving him the opportunity to play several different characters, and really have fun using his voice. He has fallen in love with this slice of the acting world and is seeking new projects in need of a unique and versatile voice actor.
