I've owned a successful recording studio and music production company (Dumb Yank Productions) in the UK since 1996. Have extensive experience in recording and using my voice; I'm also a gigging musician, composer, singer and entertainer here in Britain. Done a good deal of acting in the States before I came here to live, so the combination of those talents and skills naturally led me into voice overs through clients(bands,companies, corporations and others) who recorded in my studio and constantly asked if I'd add my voice to their projects.
Completely self-taught in the recording and performing arts and despite my youthfulness, have decades of experience.
Use several computer based programs for most of my recording and processing needs, including Logic Audio, Pro-Tools, Wave-Pad, Mix-Pad, and Vox Studio.
Software aside, I'm still very partial to hardware gear for more creative and intuitive recording projects;
Neumann, AKG, and Rode microphones for different types of vocal recording (Singing and Speech), TC Electronics' Finalizer for mastering to CD, MD, or Computer, Several hardware sound modules for music production and film textures, A Soundcraft Ghost mixing desk with 32x32x8x2 channels and loads more stuff, too much and too boring to list here :)
All my skills are relevant and related:
Music arranger, composer, producer and musical director.
Actor, live entertainer, lead and background vocalist, keyboard soloist.
Recording engineer and system maintenence of my computers.
Lyric, promotion, marketing and script writer.
Chief cook, Bottle washer and toilet cleaner :D
