- Experience, training, and equipment‘Big Steve Kelly’ is a well-known, Billboard award-winning On-Air Personality, Operations & Program Director, Voice-Over Talent, Imaging & Marketing Specialist, Programming Consultant, and Published Trade Author. Steve owns his own broadcast-VO recording studio at home. His work is heard coast-to-coast with credentials including CBS, Westwood One, and Super Radio Network. Steve is a contributing writer and the national imaging voice on ‘Retro Country USA’ heard weekly on over 100 stations. He’s also the regular fill-in host! A Pennsylvania native and graduate of Kutztown State University, Steve earned his B.A. in Speech/Theater. Married, with two great kids, he and his family reside with their menagerie of dogs, cats, and horses on the beautiful Barnett Reservoir Lake, just outside Jackson, Mississippi. 1975 Graduate of Kutztown State University, Bachelor of Arts in Speech-Theater, minor in Journalism. Neumann U87 condenser microphones, Shure SM5B, Electro Voice RE-20, Soundcraft console, high-end sound cards and various ancillary CD, DVD, MP3 external equipment, special effects generators, Aphex Aural Exciter, and DBX microphone processing. Can also handle Powerpoint Presentations for potential clients, telephone answering systems, instructional movie and/or video narration, and reading for the visually impaired.
