I did pre-professional theatre training and followed up with general professional acting courses.
I got my start in voice over by checking out On The Mic Training in Vancouver. After taking the Foundations course with Michael Daingerfield, I took both Commercial Development I (taught by Noel Johansen) and Animation Development I (taught by Lee Tockar) repeatedly through a year, and ended off recording my demo.
I have ongoing weekly sessions with a singing instructor. We work on a wide variety of genres from jazz to modern day pop, although my favourites is musical theatre. With a low voice and a strong belt and mix it suits me well- please feel free to contact if you have questions or would like a sample.
I am located in Vancouver, BC, so if your studio is in the Greater Vancouver area I would be happy to come out.
My home studio includes a Scarlett 2i2 interface and Shure microphones (typically the SM-57, but I have an SM-58 for use as well).
I have a background in guest service and business management- I know what challenges you face and what you're looking for, and I am dedicated to making sure your project is just right.
I also have years of creative writing experience under my belt. I would be more than happy to use them to give you a hand.
