I work regularly as a Radio Presenter on Brooklands Radio. This involves being engaging and spontaneous with my voice, as well as reading scripted material live in a natural way to avoid the scripted feel. I currently host two shows a week covering music and news features. I have also hosted sports shows.
I also edit shows for later broadcast, process music files for the station and produce radio adverts.
I studied at Ruskin College, Oxford.
My subjects included Sociology, Politics and Economics.
I have also trained in film and video production.
I have full access to the Brooklands Radio Studio, which features two full broadcast desks. Editing is done with a full licensed version of CoolEdit Pro, which can save audio projects in a variety of formats including wav, mp3, and aac.
I have worked in public relations and professional politics. Having extensively written adverts and campaign literature, I have excellent skills in producing copy to appeal to a variety of target demographics. My writing style is engaging, sensitive with contentious subjects, concise and accessible.
