- Experience, training, and equipmentSher's experience in training employees as a hiring manager, is one that allows her to see, that those who are in likeness to a sponge and want to soak in all aspects of the job with an open mind, are the ones who are successful. She is a sponge. Her training has been through Joe Zieja's Voice Acting Academy. Her equipment is a simple signal chain for ease of trouble shooting if technical issues arise. She has a MXL770 mic, her audio interface is Focusrite Scarlett Solo, and her DAW is Audacity. Sher does have a studio in her home, not a vocal booth and not an isolation shield. It is a bedroom converted to a studio. The studio consists of bass traps, ceiling clouds, acoustic panels and carpet on the floor. It is not sound proof but acoustically treated.
