While, I was on tour overseas in Germany I discovered that I had a unique voice. I was not sure initially , if in fact that I even spoke , loud enough. Due to the fact that I was always being told that I had a soft voice! I was asked by Bob Jackson , if I wanted to audition for a position with his group," The Jackson Singers." I had always sung in the church's choir back in the states. Music was always my first love, then secondly, The Spoken Word and Poetry. I did in fact obtain a contract with the Jackson singers. I later went on to complete a CD with them, while appearing on National Germany T.V.in a dedication to Princess Dianna. I feel that during ,that year of 1997 things begin to open up for me. I was given the opportunity to recite, my collection of poems on the national airways in Europe. I was also contracted to lecture and speak on Mother's Day to Women all around the country. I felt very humble for this opportunity, just as I would be for any opportunities, that might present itself to me on this website in the near future. I would like to thank you in advance for your kind listening ear. Thanks! Sherrell Garth
