I have a warm, approachable, smooth, professional, inviting voice. At the same time, I can do edgy, sarcastic, and exasperated with a nice dose of humor. Words frequently used to describe my voice quality are: "silky" , "chocolate", "sexy" , "smooth", warm. My broadcasting and music performance background give me the ability to color words while remaining articulate as well as maintain the stamina to complete large projects. At the same time, my acting experience means I can perform the "woman next door" with a natural, real sound. I can be the busy professional, the exasperated mom, the nurse, the executive...expressive, wry, witty, sarcastic, excited, tender.
"What a lovely voice".."..."you've made my day with your lovely voice". Radio commercials have aired in major regional markets. They include: GM trucks, BMO Smartsteps,Canadian Cancer Society "Let's Beat It" radio campaign, CTV Manitoba, Axio Town Homes, Hawthorne Homes, Skeena Mall, CFNR Radio. Documentary and narration experience include the Thailand Water Conservation Project, poetry reading for Darian Entertainment, and CKBI TV and CBC radio documentaries. I have years of experience as a radio/television news reporter, announcer and anchor for local broadcasters in Edmonton and Prince Albert, as well as CBC Radio, both local and national.

My professional acting and singing experience and training enable me to interpret text to make it "come alive" for the listener. As a former news reporter, I have had countless hours in front of the microphone. As a teacher, I am a communicator. My experience singing in foreign languages, means I can convincingly articulate challenging words. As director of public relations for a major non-profit organization, I wrote press releases, hosted press conferences and successfully raised the profile of the charity.
