A village of people live in my head, but I'm not Sybil. I do not suffer from multiple personalities, just an overactive imagination. I had an opportunity to "meet" many of these characters while working as a writer for the broadcasting department of a national nonprofit organization.
While there, I played a sexy siren, a stressed-out mom, a sweet-voiced storyteller, a sassy phone operator from New York City, and a young girl negotiating the terms of her engagement.
* B.S., Communications, Grace College, IN
* Almost seven years serving as a writer, director and producer for the in-house broadcast creative services department at Focus on the Family. Won several national and local awards for my scriptwriting while there.
* A lifetime of experience in the theatre, which has included acting, writing and directing.
* Thanks to a decent alto voice, I have performed in numerous choirs and musical productions throughout my life.
* Over two decades working as a professional writer in a variety of media outlets, from newspaper to print and online articles to public relations and marketing.
Though I do not have a home studio at this time, I have quick access to professional studios that offer analog and digital recording as well as ISDN lines.
