I currently am an IT Professional. I work on the phones as well as Level 2, visiting end-users' desks for hands-on troubleshooting. Utilizing my skills over the phone, I am able to calm a user without being patronizing or condescending. I have also used my voice for voice recordings for my current job @ MVP, an HMO located in Upstate NY, on our front-end welcoming message system.
Growing up as an only child, I had to keep myself entertained by employing various voices to match the toys I had. At times, the voices I used were actually voices I heard while in public or on television. After a while, I realized that I had the ability to 'mimic' some voices as well as their movements, etc. I have always dreamed of partaking in cartoon voiceovers but never had the chance to look into it until now.
No training whatsoever with the exception of my imagination and the observations of actors. I did take an acting class at Schenectady County Community College Sept-Dec 2002. (A- for the class)

I feel that my imagination would allow me to be limitless in my approach to this field. I have always wanted to be involved in the entertainment field but was always taken aback by my own shyness. I feel that voice-over work can possibly be a big break for me and my voice can add a new spectrum to any project I may be part of.
