My experience with voice overs began in college when I thought that I wanted to pursue a career in television production. But I soon found that I was drawn to audio instead of the visual arts. I have been apart of numerous projects including underwriters credits, children's educational programs, independent projects (school related assignments), PSAs, news and radio broadcasting.
I started my education in Fall 2004 and in March 2005 I was hired as a volunteer at 91.1 WHFC in Bel Air, MD and later as a paid employee. I am a mass communications major focusing on audio production. The classes that I have completed and passed with either an A or a B include: Audio production, advanced audio production, writing for electronic media, independent audio visual project, and electronic media performance which focused on voice over tracking, character voices, news anchor audio and voice overs.
I have also been an on-air personality for nearly 3 years.
For most people my age they have absolutely no idea of what they want to do tomorrow, let alone knowing want they want out of life and out of a career. Unlike my counterparts I know exactly what I want and need to do to make my goals come to fruition.
