Here’s my story, at 12 years old I was at 4H Camp for the summer, there I had this girl tell me how she made $50 to literally walk up and down a run way as a model. So I come back from camp telling my parent I want to be a model, they thought it would be a fad, so they signed me up for this modeling class, which I was supposed to start that August 1986, but I ended up getting into a motorcycle accident, I was riding my dirt bike with no helmet of course, and I come out of the drive away and a Truck flying down the dirt road with the sun in his eyes, because he didn’t see me, and bam I got hit by this truck which put me in the hospital, of course as tragic as this sounds it was the fact that I was going to have to miss my modeling class that was the heartbreaker for me, because I had broken my arm and I was pretty beat up BUT thankfully no permanent damage. But because I wasn’t able to attend the schedule modeling class the company said I could take a TV Commercial course for adults. Keep in my mind I live in Vail AZ, I didn’t even know you could do such a thing as a commercial. So I was amped and ready to go, so all I wanted to do now was Commercials, I was done with modeling and now I wanted to be a commercial actor at the age of 13. So I took the class loved it, and then when I went to high school, I look at what I thought could help me in making me a better commercial actor, so I signed up for this class called Drama thinking this will help me with commercials. So once I took my 1st high school drama course I was introduced to my 1st musical, then I got hooked on musicals, and my senior year I went around with a teen touring company and performed all over the eastern USA and Canada. And from that I got involved in dance, because I realized to do musicals you need to dance, so I studied tap jazz and ballet, at 17yrs old, then I decided I liked ballet a lot because I had been an athlete in High School playing Soccer and Baseball, so I found ballet challenging and so I studied that for the next 5 years, at the same time I ended up following my voice teach from AZ to Mesa State College, in Grand Junction CO, and got my degree in music theater, from there was supposed to go to Oklahoma University to get a Masters in Ballet, but at last moment I decided to pack my nags and head to LA to pursue acting. Stayed there for 6 years, and decided to move to NYC in 2001, did some shows and then got out of the business, until recently I started singing again on a site called SMULE, and because of that I quit a recording booth in my NYC apartment so as not to disturb neighbors, and then realized I wanted to get back into doing commercials only through voice over. So here I am beginning a serious career in voice overs. I really want to do animation. Thats my forte.
