I co-hosted a weekly two hour podcast for two years called Talking Illini. It was a talk sports format discussing the University of Illinois Football and Men's Basketball programs. I discovered that I could become very passionately animated behind the microphone.
From there I started to take voice over classes and learned where my natural sound was and how to adjust it in various ways for different spots.
I believe that my demo exemplifies my verstility though I've been told that my natural "wheel house" is the fun commercial that brings out my uniquely playful, enthusiastically animated, real guy/buddy character-y peronality, and Chicago(Eastern Regionalism)flair.
I have trained at the Acting Studio Chicago with veteran Chicago Based working voice actors Dave Leffel and Jeff Lupetin.
Presently, I receive private coaching from Jeff Lupetin.
I am also taking improv classes at Second City in Chicago.
