About Sara
I have a warm and soothing voice with a good element of trust and openness. A voice of authority...but approachable.
For my straight reads, you'll find me on BBC documentaries which require a good, believable, warm, received pronunciation voice. I work a lot in the corporate sphere and am very comfortable with professional, warm, engaging, inviting and authoritative projects. I do, when the project allows, like to add an friendly and approachable element to the voice as it's key that the audience is happy to listen and feel connected.
I work internationally and am probably best known as the voice of the UK Speaking Clock, hosted by BT. This brings an element of fame to it so I'm often on the radio or television. I've been told I'm the equivalent to the US Pat Fleet.
I also have a very wide range to my voice so character work is very much within my remit and will create characters to order. I can turn my hand to lots of UK and European accents and can mimic too. It's often said 'I can't believe all these voices come from the same person'...which is a great compliment so I'm more than happy to work with you to find the perfect character voices.
