Sarah Jayne has been in the business since the age of 11, studying with the top vocal coaches including Seth Riggs and Dave Stroud. She spent years working on Broadway and studied with Lesly Kahn, Gregory Berg-Sobeck, and Michael Lissemore. Including writing her own music for web series and television.
After winning multiple national dance titles, Sarah Jayne was signed at age 16 to BMG as a recording artist. Her pop group traveled and performed in Europe, including multiple TV performances and shows. She then began her Broadway career with roles in Fosse, Oklahoma! with Patrick Wilson, Wonderful Town with Donna Murphy, and Gypsy directed by Sam Mendes. While in New York, she fell in love with improv at UCB and Magnet Theatre. After shooting Punk’d, Across The Universe and Hairspray directed by Adam Shankman, she decided to move to LA, booking Pushing Daisies, the lead in Center Stage: Turn It Up, and Seven Days in Utopia, starring Robert Duvall. She was a series regular on Homeland InSecurity which was bought by CBS. She's currently in a female sketch comedy duo, Almost Black N White as well as the lead in the musical comedy pilot, The Block, which she co-wrote and co-created.
